Avalon Airport Avalon Airport is a low-cost commercial airport in Victoria. It's located 55km from the Melbourne CBD (40 minutes drive). To Geelong's CBD is about 20km. Avalon Airport has flights to: - Sydney and Brisbane (Jetstar) - Adelaide and Portland (Sharp Airlines) - Gold Coast, Rockhampton, Perth, Sydney, Mackay, Alice Springs (Tiger Airways) Direct shuttle buses operates between Avalon and the coach terminal at Melbourne's Southern Cross Station. Bus fare is about AUD20 one-way. A dedicated taxi rank is outside Avalon's Airport terminal. There are also bus services to and from Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula. |
