Over 100.000 people use Flinders Street Station each day. It's located on the corner of Flinders Street and Swanston street. The Customer Information Centre is open daily from 7.00 – 19.30. Cafes, eateries are located on the concourse; ATM's are around the station. Myki tickets Melbourne is moving to a new ticketing system in the public transportation. The Myki and Metcard systems are currently operating alongside each other. Myki is a smart card that can store either travel days as a money amount. A Myki Discovery Centre is located on the ground level of Southern Cross Station.
